Description: The sixth Masterclass for 2011 / 2012 will be held on the morning of Wednesday 22nd February 2012 in central London, with Suzanne Bunce and dr Michelle Buist from NLP4Medics.

-Do you feel stressed at work?
-Is there conflict within your team?
-Do you struggle to help your heart-sink patients or other members of staff?
-How good will it feel to have exquisite rapport skills and elegantly influence people for the better?
-Not only able to resolve conflicts but understand how they arise in the first place?
-You will discover that you can choose how to respond in any given situation.

This Masterclass will explore the subtle differences in the way people communicate and revolutionise the way you interact with everyone you meet. It will change the way you relate to people face to face and provide you with unique tools to enable you to get the best out of written and telephone communication
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Originally developed in the 1970's by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, NLP enables you to become the real, authentic you you've always wanted to be. It is a set of techniques that enable you to be at your best and to communicate effectively; thus giving patients and colleagues the best experience and helping you develop as an individual.

This Masterclass will

-Give you practical skills to deal with patients and colleagues
-Give you a different approach to communication
-Provide new insight into self and others

BIOGRAPHIES
Part-time General Practitioner Dr.Michelle Buist and former nurse and senior NHS manager Suzanne Bunce formed NLP4MEDICS after meeting in 2009. With a shared passion for improving communication within the NHS and over 40 years NHS experience between them, they know what it's like to work within the busy, ever-changing environment that is today's NHS. They have the inside knowledge and credibility to know how much NLP has to offer health professionals. They have been trained by some of the world's top experts and are both NLP Master Practitioners and INLPTA certified trainers.

Both Michelle and Suzanne have benefited personally and professionally from these techniques and now train doctors, nurses and other health service staff to use NLP to communicate better with patients and colleagues and to get the best out of themselves. NLP4MEDICS delivers a variety of bespoke and off-the-shelf trainings to medical audiences, providing fun and interactive sessions. They are highly-skilled, enthusiastic and passionate about what they teach.

Michelle graduated from the Royal Free School of Medicine in 1989 and after completing the Watford GP Vocational Training Scheme, joined her training practice in Bushey in 1994. She still practises there as a six-session partner. Michelle became interested in NLP in 2003 after a chance conversation with a patient. She went on to qualify as a Master Practitioner of NLP and an INLPTA certified NLP trainer. She also developed an interest in coaching and runs a company providing success coaching to doctors. Michelle is passionate about self-development and thrives on motivating others to be the very best they can be. Authenticity and walking your talk are central to her philosophy and she combines her 20+ years in medicine with her NLP, coaching and presenting skills to deliver trainings to medical audiences. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her teenage sons, reading, learning languages and sport - especially tennis and football.

Suzanne qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1986 and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, first as a nurse and later as a senior NHS manager. She has extensive experience of patient care, working both in hospitals and as a District Nurse. Suzanne was introduced to NLP while redesigning cancer services in North London as part of the NHS Modernisation Agency and this transformed her thinking about how individuals communicate. Suzanne became an NLP Master Practitioner and went on to obtain the INLPTA certified NLP Trainer qualification in 2010. She spends her time training health professionals and working with individual clients with chronic pain and phobias. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys walking, and has recently completed Hadrian's Wall National Trail and is passionate about growing organic fruit and vegetables on her allotment.
